:: DON'T PANIC - Design the pack

Our first brief back after the summer and to get a head start into the third year, we given the chance to do a week long brief for "Don't Panic'.
The Don't Panic Pack is a unique free publication found in carefully selected independent shops, bars, universities and art spaces. Also distributed outside alternative music events and launch parties, it contains all sorts of arts and culture goodies and information for cities all around the world with the emphasis on design and the future of our planet.
We had a choice, to either design the actual pack, or the poster that you would find inside and a baseball hat design.
I chose to design the pack.
Each month, there is a theme that we needed to base our designs around and this month the theme was
"DESIRE"

Below are some other designs I did in response to pack, too be honest, I quite liked them all, but unfortunately couldn't submit them all. But I'm still happy with the way these ones turned out.

Using this one "Want"...I started making a typeface using ladies legs, but only created these letters. Since completing this brief I am currently trying to produce the whole alphabet in this style...which should be up on here shortly.




Overall, I really really enjoyed this brief and think it's got me moving and my creative juices after the long summer break. I'm going to continue checking out the don't panic website and see if any upcoming briefs tickle my fancy...
