:: JULIEN PACAUD

"Violets Pet"

Julien Pacaud is a french designer that I came accross in IDN (International Designers Network) magazine.
This kind of design is not something I normally look at...but I've found it amazing!!!
I love illutrations, but in no way am I an illustrator, but love to look at this type of design.
I would love to be able to do my own illustrations, and this has really inspired me. These are illustrations, but not done using pens, pencils and coloured graphic pens, these are built up by photo manipulation.

"The Missing Chapter"

"Little Nicky"

"Way Back to Sirius"

Pacaud says that his work is the result of happy accidents and serendepity.
When he started out , Pacaud chose cinematography as his main medium, but later moved on the digital images, still image creation was the best for him.
A lot of his influences come from traditional art and graphic design. Also, on the other hand he looks at Dadaism, Surrealism and Constructivism.
He loves the take on the humourous, twisted and strange vision of the world.

"Memories of Tomorrow"

"Good Girl"

"Hell's Angels"

"Autoroute Zero"

"Geometric Parade"
