It's the invitation to the presentation of a new kimono brand from Kyoto kimono maker Odasho. A concertina invitation and new free paper were enclosed in a tube about 35cm long. The tube and illustrations on the invitation, which was decorated with silver foil, were created by French illustrator Marie Caillou.
A really nice idea and I love the way it's delivered, in the tube. Something that you would be happy to receive and then something you would want to keep as a novelty item.
